But with over 1.6 million subscribers, South Korean’s Pony (also known as Hye-Min Park), is definitely the real deal. From her impressive celebrity transformations to her more controversial Hijab makeup tutorial video, all eyes are on Pony and her meticulous makeup application skills.
Before writing four makeup books and becoming CL’s trusted makeup artist, Pony worked as a graphic designer, publishing makeup videos online as a hobby. Her career took off in 2010, when she was approached by publishers to turn her makeup tips into her first book. Now armed with over 2 million Instagram followers, countless K-pop and celebrity admirers, and a makeup collection under her belt, Pony is definitely a bonafide makeup queen.
