How much does your daily beauty routine cost? Welcome to The Klog Beauty Diaries. Inspired by Refinery29’s Money Diaries, we thought it would be fun to recap a day in the life of people with different occupations and highlight their beauty routines. In this Klog beauty diary, we feature a 20-year-old Benefit Brow Expert who has a pretty extensive Korean beauty routine.

Age: 20
Location: Compton, California

8:15am – I wake up in the morning and go straight to getting ready for work. I go wash my face with warm water and pat it dry with a towel. I start off by toning my skin with the Huxley Secret of Sahara Toner ($40) and pat that in. My skin is feeling a little stressed and dehydrated so I decide to use the Neogen Real Ferment Micro Essence ($35) and the Huxley Secret of Sahara Oil Essence ($46). I love using these two products together because they give my skin a nice glow and hydration. My eyes are very tired and lacking hydration due to my late nights doing homework (so stressful!) so I applied the Dr. Jart Water Fuse Hydro Soothe Eye Gel ($42) to hydrate my eyes. I finish off with my Huxley Secret of Sahara Cream Fresh and More Moisturizer ($35) and the Drunk Elephant Umbra Sunscreen – ($232)
9:20am — I work as the Brow Expert for Benefit inside Ulta so I have to wear makeup as part of my profession. I start off with the No More Poreblem Primer ($18). I am so in love with this primer! It works wonders and leaves my skin with such a nice canvas to work with. I use the Benefit Foolproof Brow Powder ($24) to fill in my brows. This was a gift that I received at my job when the product first launched. Ever since I used it, I’ve been hooked! I clean up my eyebrows and conceal my under-eyes with the Tarte Shapetape Concealer ($27).
Today’s foundation is the Nars Natural Radiant Foundation ($49). I throw on some Hoola Bronzer ($15) and the Gold Rush Blush ($29) to give my cheeks some color. I then throw on my favorite mascara at the moment: the Benefit Bad Gal Bang ($24). For today’s final touch, I use the Nooni Appleberry Lip Oil ($12) and Labiotte Wine Tint in Burgandy ($13). This color combination allows me to do a nice gradient lip look. I set my whole look using the Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist ($48). — ($259)

4:09pm — I am on my lunch break at work and I like to freshen up my skin and look during this time. I carry my H2O Oasis Quench Hydrating Mist ($18) to freshen up and get some hydration back in my skin. My nails and hands are pretty dried up from sanitizing my hands so often so I like to use the Frank Body Coconut Balm ($24.95) to massage into my hands and nails. I touch up lips with my Labiotte Wine Tine in Burgandy ($13) and enjoy my break. — ($55.95)
8:30pm – I hop into the shower and use my Marc Anthony Curl Defining Shampoo ($8) and Marc Anthony Frizz Sealing Conditioner ($8). I wash my body with the Somang Milk Body Wash ($18) that I recently bought at a local Korean store inside H-Mart. I use the Marc Anthony Strictly Curl Envy Spray (7.99) for my hair. — ($42).

9:18pm — My favorite part of the day is here! I start off by washing my face with my Dr. Jart Dermaclear Micro Foam Cleanser ($22). I like to pat my face dry with tissues for this part of my routine. I exfoliate using my favorite pads ever: The Neogen Bio-Peel Green Tea Gauze Peeling Pads ($27). I tone my skin using the Huxley Secret of Sahara Toner ($40). I like to pat it into my skin until I have felt that the product has penetrated into my skin. I use the Dr. Oracle A-thera Peeling Sticks ($24) twice a week at night right after my essence.

I continue to use the Plant Base Quesera Ceramide ($25 ) and the Missha Night Repair Ampoule ($49). As crazy as it sounds to stack on two ampoules, the results that come with it are amazing! These two products are my to-die-for products. Every single night for the past two years, I have been sheet masking. Today’s skin calls for the Manefit Green Tea Pore Care Sheet Mask ($5). While I wait for the time to pass, I like to read up on my class notes. As I get closer to finishing, I use the Bobbi Brown Eye Cream ($52) and the Belif True Aqua Bomb Moisturizer ($38). and Nooni Lip Mask ($15) — ($330)
Total Skin Care: $454
Total Hair and Body: $67
Total Makeup: $211
Grand total: $754
