Without enough time to sleep during Fashion Week I make sure I wear a healing cream for my skin for the few hours I can rest!  Colbert MD Soothe for night is my go-to cream as it works overnight hydrating my skin. It’s really one of the best I’ve tried and it makes my skin glow.

I also keep it healthy and eat a lot of antioxidants for breakfast, a big bowl of berries (strawberries, blackberries and blueberries) is the perfect superfood for my skin.

Keeping my skin healthy and hydrated is always one of my top priorities! It’s not always easy though, flying all of the time is super drying and getting up early for shoots and missing those vital eight hours can be awful and really shows on my face.

The first thing I make sure I do is drink enough water! Two to three liters of water a day really makes a difference in the look of my skin.

I’m a big fan of under eye patches, specifically the green tea ones, and I love sheet masks. I try to use them the morning after a flight or travel day to rehydrate my skin.

I’ve found that if I can replenish my skin’s moisture before it dries out, it both prevents breakouts and also keeps my complexion glowing.

I always drink two bottles of water before I go to bed, and two bottles of water when I wake up. I also use a Korean sheet mask every single night! You heard it. EVERY night!

My regular routine includes workouts (hot yoga at 7 in the morning is my favorite thing), and a few makeup tricks and must-haves to start the day.

I can’t live without L’Occitane Immortelle Divine Cream and Yves Saint Laurent’s Touche Eclat pen concealer to cover dark circles. I use a very light tinted moisturizer, eyebrow filler, no bronzer, Dior Diorshow Mascara and Pro Eyeliner. As I like to keep this process simple, it usually doesn’t take me more than 10-15 to go over these beauty steps.

Following this beauty routine when I travel gets hard sometimes, so the best advice is to always stay hydrated by drinking lots of water and liquids, possibly no sodas or sugar free drinks. I also make sure I always take my makeup off (even twice a day sometimes) and moisturize A LOT!

Drink a lot of water.  Staying hydrated is so important for glowing healthy skin. When I do sleep during fashion week I use an overnight moisture mask. Clinique Ultra Moisture Overnight Mask is one that I like.

Scrub and more scrub! When I’m traveling the two things that really damage my skin are dryness and clogged pores. So I try to exfoliate often, moisturize, and wake up with a good eye cream as well. The sun is also a big no-no. I do not like to go in the sun. I use SPF 50 every day on my hands, decolletage, and face.

When I just can’t save my skin, it’s time to fake it with some great makeup. If you’re having a bad skin day, draw attention to something you can control, like your eyes and lips. Go bold with lashes and lip color.

Stay away from illuminators and bronzers when you are having a bad skin day. I find that illuminators will do just that: Illuminate blemishes. The bronzer tends to stick to the concealer on the blemish, drawing attention to it.

My favorite facial feature on anyone is a strong eyebrow. When you’re having a good skin day, go with a bold brow and minimal makeup. Why cover up you’re amazing glowing face with more makeup? Throw on your illumination, tinted moisturizer with SPF, a little mascara and call it a day.

When it comes to putting my best face forward, my best advice, especially during hectic times like Fashion Week, is to do what’s quick and easy. Don’t do makeup that you cannot touch-up on the go. Stick to a minimal color palette with a translucent powder you can keep in your bag with your lip color. Give your skin a rest.
