A few of my favorites that have helped me be more efficient: Oil cleansing wipes and exfoliating pads. They sit on my bathroom shelf and I reach for them when I travel or come home late and only have the energy to swipe off my makeup before I hit the sack.
I found the RE:P Organic Cotton Treatment Toning Pads when I was in Korea earlier this year and immediately added them to my lazy girl routine. I don’t often see pads soaked in toner, and I was traveling so much I felt an immediate connection to these travel saviors. Many of you have also requested carry-on friendly products, so I thought this would be a great fit for our community.
RE:P Organic Cotton Treatment Toning Pads have a pH of 5, which helps restore skin’s natural pH back to 5.5.
The goods
What exactly are they? Natural organic cotton pads that are infused with extracts of Damask rose, tea tree, and calendula (which contribute to its nice, natural, slightly sweet fragrance). There are 90 of them so they last a long time. Each pad is designed to:
1) Lightly hydrate and refresh the skin
2) Restore pH balance
3) Exfoliate the skin
Who it’s good for
I recommend these toning treatment pads for combination and oily skin types because the toning pads also help clarify and control excess sebum (a.k.a. oil) production thanks to tea tree extract.
Also really cool: The threads in the cotton pad take inspiration from those used to thread your eyebrows. Don’t worry — they don’t remove hair, but they do provide very gentle exfoliation.
See the little criss-crossed threads? They work as a physical exfoliant and let you tone and exfoliate quickly and easily.
How to use
I love how easy they are to use! After cleansing, just swipe a cotton pad across your forehead, cheeks, chin. Use the smooth side if you just want to tone, or use the threaded side if you want it to act as an exfoliator too. Throw it away and you’re done! As with any toner, follow with your treatment products and moisturizer.

These pads are organic, cruelty-free, easy to travel with and both tone and exfoliate my skin. A necessity for those lazy days! Now that I officially have a go-to toning pad, I want to find pads for all my other steps. Wouldn’t it be handy to have one for essence and maybe even moisturizer?! Something tells me it won’t be hard to find in Korea… so I’m looking forward to finding more on my upcoming trip!
