The $29 Serum That Smoothes Fine Lines in 2 Weeks

In our Plant Base Time Stop Collagen Ampoule review, you’ll see how it changed a 60-year-old woman’s skin.

As we get older, our skin begins to change. This is due to a variety of factors: external influences, loss of collagen, etc. Sooner or later, wrinkles and fine lines will develop. But what if we told you that there’s a product that can delay and lift these signs of mature skin?
That’s where the Plant Base Time Stop Collagen Ampoule comes in. Formulated with 76.52% mushroom extracts, this ampoule is just what you need to lift and unwanted signs of aging. Mushroom is an ingredient known for stimulating collagen to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, as well as being rich in vitamin D to protect the skin against environmental factors like discoloration and lines caused by the sun.

It’s also an anti-inflammatory, meaning it works to help improve acne, rosacea, and eczema. It works together with panthenol, sodium hyaluronate, and macadamia seed oil to hydrate and hydrate and lock moisture in, as well as centella and aloe to soothe. The secret ingredient to this formula is a blend of licorice, persimmon, and other natural, botanic antioxidants to brighten and strengthen the skin’s barrier.
In order to properly test this ampoule, we sent it off to Soko Glam Director of Marketing Inhwa’s mother, who is in her 60’s, to try out. Here’s her experience:
What kind of skin care issues were you dealing with before trying the plant base booster?
At my current age, I’m not sure if I believe I can reduce the wrinkles I already have but the goal is to look younger than my actual age. To do this, I try to incorporate things into my skin care to brighten up the dullness and improve overall color of my skin tone while preventing additional wrinkles.
What is it like using the product?
The product texture looks and feels very much like honey. It’s very sticky.

What are your tips for application?
When I first started using it, it was my first time mixing something into my moisturizer so I don’t think I was using enough moisturizer. When just applying my moisturizer only, I know exactly how much to use but mixing in the serum/ampoule threw me off. I had to adjust and make sure to use enough moisturizer.
I would also be cautious about moving the product from the dropper to your hand. Because the consistency is very sticky (like honey), there were times especially in the beginning when the product would drop on my counter.
How did your skin react at first?
I started mixing in the serum with my moisturizer day and night every day about two weeks ago. I noticed that my skin felt very hydrated and less dull in the mornings after application at night. On day two of starting the ampoule, I received two separate compliments on my skin! I don’t know if it was the product or if I just got better sleep that night, but it was a good start.

How did your skin change over time?
Over time, I noticed the tone of my skin really improve. I still have dullness as a 60-year-old would experience, but I definitely saw that the tone brightened and improved. I also noticed that my foundation glided on and absorbed much better, making the finished look flawless. Before using the ampoule, I always had to tap more foundation product on the corners of my nose to make sure there was coverage, but I haven’t had to do this in the past week or so, and I can see the finished look has gotten much better.
How did your skin change overall? And what do you attribute it to?

My skin feels much more hydrated, supple, smooth, AND BRIGHTER! The only thing that has changed in my routine is that I added the ampoule with everything else constant so I guess I can attribute it to the ampoule booster.
What’s the best thing about this product and what is the worst thing about it?
The best thing about the product is the price! I’ve tried many products out there with higher price tags but have not seen the immediate results I have seen with this affordable ampoule.
The worst thing about the product is that the product sometimes falls on my counter from dropper as I try to get it on my hand at application because of the sticky texture.
