Resveratrol
Resveratrol, a polyphenol, is a powerful antioxidant found most notably in the skins of grapes (think: red wine). Resveratrol, in plants, is produced when they’re under attack from fungi and bacteria.
Benefits: It helps to protect the skin against environmental stressors, such as pollution and UV rays, and as a result, against premature signs of aging. It also helps to calm sensitive skin by fighting against redness and irritation.
