Cleansing is still one of the things I look forward to most every morning and especially at night. It’s one of my favorite steps and a time to relax as I let the day literally melt away.

My mornings and evenings have gotten so much more luxurious and relaxing with the Klavuu Pure Pearlsation Revitalizing Facial Cleansing Foam in my routine, and I look forward to it every time. I mean, the formula is literally infused with pearl extracts. I don’t know how you get more luxurious than that.

Pearls have actually been used a very long time in skincare. Anyone remember the Mikimoto cosmetics line from Japan? Pearl extracts are unique when the extracts are utilized in skincare: when coupled with the right ingredients it can be very hydrating and firming.

That’s exactly how my skin feels after using the Klavuu Revitalizing Facial Cleansing Foam. It’s creamy right of the pump, and then it seamless transforms into a super soft, luxurious foam. The scent is so pleasant. The best way that I can describe it: light and buttery–and I just love those few minutes as my skin is enveloped in it.

As with most foaming cleansers, the pH is on the higher side (it’s a 7), but I don’t feel tightness or an uncomfortable dryness at all after the cleanse. I’m going to credit the 30 other natural extracts from ocean-origin plants such as algae and kelp, that keeps my skin soft and firm. I’m just surprised comes in such a huge bottle, because just a little dime sized amount goes such a long way.

This was the first product I tried from Klavuu, and really the “gateway drug” that made me into a believer of the pearl-based line.
