Hello again! Dave here, Charlotte’s husband and Soko Glam co-founder. It’s great to be here on The KLOG, a retooled and rebooted iteration of The K-Beauty Log.
If you missed my first blog post, Skincare for Men, no worries (but, hey, if you have the time, you should still go back and read it, mostly because I’m so proud of what we were able to do for Veterans with our Thank a Vet campaign). You’ve come to the right place for my monthly insights on men’s grooming.
If you read my first post, you’ll know that I’m not your typical beauty and skin care aficionado. I was in the military and experienced extreme conditions from desert to tundra. My feet stink on rainy days, and yeah, I get some five o’clock shadow.
But about two years ago, I hung up the combat boots and started this amazing journey in the beauty industry with Charlotte, my cofounder, wife, and best friend.
It hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been one of the best and most rewarding things I’ve been a part of, and it’s all because of you – yes, you reading this – all our loyal fans, customers, supporters, friends, family, etc.
Making a meaningful impact in the way women and MEN look and feel about themselves has been my motivation, drive, and inspiration.
This is what I hope to continue to achieve through my regular blog posts on The KLOG, simplifying and demystifying skin care for men—because, dang it, we want to look good too.
Knowing yourself and what makes you tick is truly half the battle, and together I hope to educate and help more and more men out there achieve healthier skin and get great at grooming.
