The Korean Beauty Products Jenn Im Loves

Wanna know what’s in Jenn Im’s K-beauty haul? We broke it down for you!

Jenn Im’s videos never fail to impress, and as one of the top influencers of today, she has the responsibility of not only spotlighting the best products, but also giving her honest opinion. In her recent video “Korean Beauty Haul + Review,” she racks up a large array of products and even demos each one:

Here, we break down each product Jenn uses:

  1. Too Cool For School – Egg Mousse Soap Facial Cleanser

The first product of her haul, Jenn describes the Egg Mousse Soap Facial Cleanser as “thick and bouncy, almost like a meringue.” However, Jenn admits that the product is not the best at removing makeup, so she recommends the cleanser as a second step to double cleansing.

  1. Neogen – Bio-Peel Gauze (Lemon)

Jenn calls this gentle exfoliating product a method of “raking the leaves away” that allows serums, essences, and moisturizers to absorb and hydrate the skin better. She uses these pads about two to three times a week after washing her face, by taking the rough side of the pad and exfoliating and then using the padded side to wipe up any remaining debris. Any questions about these awesome gentle exfoliators? We’ve got you covered!

  1. Dr. Jart+ – Rubber Mask Clear Skin Lover

Jenn says she personally uses this during “that time of the month,” because it works well to keep acne under control. After applying the ampoule and rubber mask, she leaves it on for 15-20 minutes, rinses her face, and then she goes in with the rest of her night routine.

  1. Pony Effect

You can tell Jenn loves Pony Effect (and rightfully so—Pony isn’t just anyone) when she spotlights three of her items. The first product she brings up is the Blurring Powder, a product which helps set or even bake makeup. “It does a really great job keeping me matte. I find that this powder blurs over pores because it’s such a fine powder,” says Jenn.
Next, she brings up the Intense Eye Tint (Lucky Charm), which is her first liquid eyeshadow. While this item can’t be layered, it’s super pigmented and is stunning on the lids. The last Pony Effect item is the Strobing Luminizer, which Jenn describes as casual-looking and perfect for everyday.

  1. Clio – Kill Brow

While this product has two sides, Jenn pays attention to the brow mascara side. As someone who has black brows and brown hair, Jenn says the pigmented brow gel gives her brows a “natural look.”

  1. Etude House

For the last segment of makeup products, Jenn features Etude House’s Play 101 Stick and the Curl Fix Mascara. She shows off the duo-ended Play 101 Stick in a demo, proving how well the bronzer and highlighter sides can be used to define her nose.
Jenn also shows the long-lasting effects of the Curl Fix Mascara. She calls it “one of the most water-resistant mascaras that [she has] ever come across” that keeps lashes curled all day. Want to see for yourself how well the mascara curls? We’ve created our own K-beauty Bites on it:
